Quote from Prosecutor's Office: "Today, on 2 November 2025, a tugboat caught fire in the port of Kavkaz.

The Novorossiysk Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection of compliance with maritime safety legislation. Following the results, the issue of the need to take response measures will be considered."

Details: The Investigative Committee later reported that the fire on the tugboat had been contained and the crew had not been injured.
