Netherlands pledges €250 million in military aid to Ukraine

This is announced on the website of the Dutch Defense Ministry.Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced in Brussels that the Netherlands is allocating another €250 million in military aid to Ukraine.The support is provided through the Priority Urgent Requirements List (PURL), which allows the Netherlands to transfer from U.S. stockpiles the weapons Ukraine needs most, including air defense systems and missiles, F-16 ammunition, and drones."Peace negotiations should not distract from the need for full and comprehensive support for Ukraine. It is extremely important to maintain high pressure on Russia – both through diplomatic and economic means, and through military supplies to Ukraine. This strengthens Ukraine's position at the negotiating table," the minister said.Poland will transfer $100 million by the end of 2025 for the purchase of U.S. weapons for Ukraine within the framework of the PURL initiative.
