Volunteer Oksana Korchynska stated this on Espreso TV."It is much harder for us now than it was in 2022 and 2024. Back then, our path was clear, which is why we need unity more than ever and less slinging mud at each other. Because if this doesn't happen, our chances of holding out will be lower," Korchynska said. The volunteer emphasized that due to a shortage of personnel, it is difficult for Ukrainian units to conduct counteroffensive actions. However, where the Defense Forces are advancing, they are achieving excellent results."I recently had a difficult conversation with my brothers-in-arms about the unauthorized abandonment of units. Yes, we have this issue, and quite a lot of it. But talking about it and giving numbers is not a good idea. We have situations where 2-3 people are holding a section of the front. We have a critical shortage of mines. There aren't enough mines at the front to hold the defense. At the same time, we don't have enough people. In those areas where our guys are advancing and attacking, they are achieving simply wonderful results. But, again, people are needed. For now, while we are on the defensive, we need millions of mines. The soldiers are making these mines themselves. And I even appealed to Ukroboronprom (the Ukrainian defense industry - ed.) to pay attention to their products and put them into mass production. The guys make them for pennies. For example, the 24th Mechanized Brigade is in a static defense; Russian forces are going around them but cannot capture their positions because the brigade itself has produced and mined a large part of the territory in the direction where they are stationed," she concluded.
