'Peace plan' doesn't exist. It's classic case of information warfare

Yesterday, I was speaking to young people from all over the country who are interested in international politics—high school students and junior university students. One of them asked: "What is your take on the 28-point peace agreement proposed by the U.S.?"I replied: There are no proposals from the U.S. Neither the United States nor Ukraine has ever published any official texts of an agreement."The so-called '28 points' were leaked to the American media by Kirill Dmitriev. Trusting, as well as pro-Russian, bloggers and politicians began to actively spread and recommend them for adoption."Now, Bloomberg is writing: "The writing of the 'peace plan,' which involves significant concessions for Russia and new restrictions for Ukraine, was managed by a Kremlin envoy, and key American officials were not even informed about the work on the document."Even Rubio is now stating that the so-called plan was developed based on Russian proposals and will only serve as a basis for negotiations. The fact that Europeans are involved in the negotiations only speaks to the collapse of Russia's intentions to stop the implementation of U.S. sanctions and to prevent the issuance of a reparations loan to Ukraine. We must live without panic and without participating in Russian psychological operations and manipulations. In his address on the Day of Dignity and Freedom, Volodymyr Zelenskyy also offered Ukrainians a strange choice. On November 21, he addressed the Ukrainian people, stating that Ukraine could now face a very difficult choice: either a loss of dignity or the risk of losing a key partner. But Ukraine does not face such a choice. The choice is before Zelenskyy: either lose dignity and partners, or fight corruption and unite Ukrainian society, regardless of political views, as long as they are pro-Ukrainian.SourceAbout the author: Mykola Kniazhytskyi, journalist, Ukrainian lawmaker. The editorial board does not always share the opinions expressed by the authors of blogs or columns.
