Death toll in Russian attack on Ternopil rises to 33

The number of people killed in the Russian attack on Ternopil on 19 November has risen to 33. Rescue workers recovered the body of a woman on Saturday.

Background:
- On the night of 18-19 November, Russia struck an industrial facility and two residential buildings located in the Soniachnyi district in Ternopil. The attack caused significant destruction and civilian casualties.
- The Air Force confirmed that Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles fired from strategic aviation aircraft hit the multi-storey residential buildings in Ternopil: six Tu-95MS (based at Olenya airfield) and four Tu-160MS (based at Engels and Ukrainka airfields). The launch areas were in Russia's Vologda and Astrakhan oblasts.
- As of 03:00 on 22 November, the death toll rose to 32, with 94 people injured, including 18 children. Thirteen people were considered missing.
