How Ukraine's communication breakdown fuels European opposition

He said something like this: "You are not here. If in '22 and '23 all the stars were here for you, your people were constantly protesting, Ukraine was on all the front pages - now it's zero. Then I raised millions for your support from my partners, and now barely 50,000. I myself have the impression that you have forgotten about us. Well, that is, you haven't forgotten about the establishment, there are herds of your lobbyists running around here. But you have forgotten about us businessmen and ordinary people. What to do, I don't know? Your stars and heroes should travel around the country, like Usyk, for example." These words were a verdict on our international strategic communication. However, we have forgotten not only about the U.S., but also about most countries. Among them are our neighbors - Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. If in '22-'23 we managed to keep them as our allies (except Orban, and even he didn't behave so brazenly then), now we are talking about outright enemies and Putin's allies.Last week, an article appeared on POLITICO describing the plans of Orban, Babiš, and Fico - to create a coalition against Ukraine in the EU. The fact that Poland is not there does not make it our ally. Poles have their own policy towards us, and they don't need a coalition for that. But if one damn Orban caused us so many problems, imagine when a whole coalition will be doing this now. How did this happen? "In '22-'23, we simply crushed the orcs (a negative term for Russian forces and Russians who support the war - ed.) in the information and propaganda war. In fact, the orcs themselves saw no point in this, as they were supposed to end the war in 2 weeks, so why spend on communication. But we also invested at all levels."Our refugees became our mouthpiece, our resilience was a symbol, everyone communicated - from the president to public activists. This gave a powerful practical result from HIMARS to F16. However, as soon as we stopped doing this - everything turned against us.Instead, the orcs realized their mistakes, and budgets for communication and elections again flowed like a river. When we fell asleep, they started working, and now they have practical results. How much blood these Orbans and Ficos drank from us, how much blocked aid we did not receive, how many sanctions they managed to repel - colossal damage to our struggle. And this was done not by Shaheds, not by missiles, but by systematic information work that turned European affection for us into intolerance. We forgot about ordinary people, they forgot about us, and switched to Palestine. Now European mobilization could help us a lot. Millions of Europeans could donate generators, charging stations, batteries, heaters, etc. to us. But most of them don't even know what horror Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv experience every day. And this horror will expand every week. In the last phase of our war, which will be this winter, we would really need European and American resources for weapons and the military. But instead, the "coalition of opposition" will block everything possible so that Putin can take more of our land. And this coalition is definitely more effective than the "coalition of the willing." And this is even before the largest pro-Russian force - Alternative - came to power in Germany, and its rating is already the highest. I have written a lot about how losing an information war can lose even a real victory. Don't believe it? Ask Israel.SourceAbout the author.
