Details: The port of Novorossiysk temporarily suspended oil exports – equivalent to 2.2 million barrels per day, or 2% of global supplies – on Friday 14 November.
Loadings have resumed, the two sources told Reuters on the condition of anonymity.
According to data from LSEG, two tankers – the Suezmax-class Arlan and the Aframax-class Rodos – are currently loading oil at the port's berths.
Two oil berths at Novorossiysk port were damaged in the Ukrainian drone strike, forcing operations to pause on Friday.
The attack on Novorossiysk, Russia's largest Black Sea export hub, was the most damaging Ukrainian attack to date on the country's main oil export infrastructure in the region.
Background: On 14 November, drones struck port and oil infrastructure in Russia's Novorossiysk, damaging an oil depot, a container terminal, coastal facilities and one vessel.
