Piotr Kulpa, former secretary of the Polish delegation to the NATO parliament and former deputy economy minister of Poland, stated this in an interview with Espreso TV.He commented on the meeting between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump."The most important thing is visible in the form; the content here is secondary. What happened during this meeting is the formal recognition by the U.S. of China as an equal and equivalent superpower, and this changes absolutely everything. Because the world, which was monopolar, has de facto turned into a bipolar world. Confirmation of this—China's statement regarding the situation in Nigeria—shows China's entry into the new role of a superpower," said Kulpa. The analyst emphasized that this unequivocally shows the very deep degradation of the Russian Federation, which, in a geopolitical sense, has slid down several levels, ceased to be a subject of these major negotiations, and has become an object of discussion between the two main superpowers."What we observed was a G2. As for the approach to aggression in general, two points need to be seen here. The key is the question: who is more interested in Russia not collapsing? Because one must see that the end of the war is a question and a dynamic that will take place in Russia, which can go many ways. It could be a palace coup, national or religious massacres, a rebellion of some detachments, a declaration of independence by, for example, Chechnya or Dagestan. It could be a refusal to pay taxes to Moscow, so that Moscow cannot be the center of this colonial system," noted the politician.According to Kulpa, these are all inevitable threats, a scenario of Russia's collapse, because in reality, there are no good scenarios for Russia."The question has now arisen as to who will be more interested in saving Russia from collapse. The U.S. position is that the U.S. would, of course, like to save Russia. And what we see from Trump's side is an attempt to save Russia, its integrity, its ability to survive," he emphasized. The analyst believes that China is speaking along the same lines."It [China] announces that it is not interested in Russia collapsing. But in reality, China understands that every day of Russia's aggression deepens the hole into which Putin is digging himself, along with the entire Russian Federation. And the funds needed to pull this country out of the hole will be provided by the side that is interested in Russia's existence—namely, the United States. In the American way of thinking, in American geopolitics—in Anglo-Saxon thinking and geopolitics—Russia is a pocket empire. With its help, they destroyed Napoleon, Wilhelm II, Hitler, and now its collapse scares them. We remember how Bush did everything possible to prevent the Soviet Union from collapsing, and he couldn't do anything," Kulpa concluded.
