Analyst Piotr Kulpa, former secretary of the Polish delegation to the NATO parliament and former deputy minister of economy of Poland, stated this on Espreso TV."The discussion about Tomahawks was a reaction to the Ukrainian President's announcement of the Flamingo missiles, which he described as a key strategic weapon in Europe. This is significant because, for the first time, a European country possesses the technology for missiles that can travel 3,000 kilometers without Washington's approval. "Currently, the number of these missiles is small, and they are certainly imperfect," he said. "They lack the guidance systems of Tomahawks, are twice as large, and fly further. Crucially, they are 10 to 12 times cheaper."According to Kulpa, these missiles, combined with strategic drones from the same company, Fire Point, represent an incredible strategic force."The mere existence of this capability is already changing the geopolitical map and the landscape of Europe's strategic independence," the politician stated. "If this production is scaled up—currently at about 7 missiles per day—imagine if there were a thousand. If launched simultaneously, Russia might intercept many, but 20% would get through even without highly complex guidance. Just as Fire Point drones effectively hit their targets, so will these missiles. We see this is causing concern, because immediately after the president's announcement, the 'dirty attacks' began: an article in the Kyiv Post, NABU investigations—which I view as signs of external influence—all undermining the reputation of a company that is responsible for 90% of the strikes destroying Russia and is the main game-changer of this war."He believes Ukraine's fate is not being decided on the front lines near Pokrovsk, but rather by the daily strategic strikes destroying Russian energy infrastructure."This is the key," the analyst emphasized. "The second aspect of this strategic advantage is that this technology could be adopted by other countries. Consequently, its reputation is being undermined with accusations of corruption and other absolute nonsense. I would say the Americans are doing everything to prevent this. By the way, many people in Ukraine are also 'playing in this orchestra,' and who knows what intentions guide them."Kulpa also believes these missiles are a geopolitical game-changer for Europe."Ukraine's drone-centric technologies," he concluded, "allow Europe to achieve strategic security without multi-billion dollar investments. It turns out, as you correctly noted, that supporting Ukraine is the key factor in protecting Europe. This seems unfair, of course, as Ukrainians are shedding blood to ensure Europe's security. That is the situation, but we see Europe fulfilling its support. The programs being adopted show that financing is guaranteed, and in the strategic long-term, Ukraine will have far more resources than Russia."
