The Guardian reported the information.Before the dialogue with the head of the Hungarian government, Trump commented on the possibility of his meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in Budapest."There's always a chance, a very good chance," Trump said, and then added that he currently sees no reason for such a meeting."I’d like to keep it in Hungary, in Budapest. That meeting, it turned out I didn’t want to do that meeting, because I didn’t think anything was going to be happening of significance. Instead, he pointed to Orbán and called him a "very good leader."But Trump later suggested that the U.S. could make an exception for Hungary from American sanctions on Russian oil and gas.“Sure, we’re looking at it, because it’s very difficult for him to get the oil and gas from other areas,” Trump said of Orbán. “As you know, they don’t have the advantage of having sea. It’s a great country, it’s a big country, but they don’t have sea. They don’t have the ports. And so they have a difficult problem.”Earlier, Orban announced that he was visiting Washington, where he would meet with President Donald Trump. The leaders will talk about cooperation between the states and Russia's war against Ukraine.
