Oles Maliarevych, deputy commander of the 429th Separate Drone Regiment Achilles, shared the information on Espreso TV.“We’ve been operating in Kupiansk for a long time. A military operation is underway there. The task is to cut the logistics routes — it’s being carried out and largely completed — as well as to clear the city. The command will report on the results,” Maliarevych said.He noted that earlier the Russians had transferred infantry units across the Oskil River, using a gas pipeline to infiltrate Kupiansk. They managed to sneak in with small units, and it was decided not to hold isolated positions to the death but to begin the clearing operation inside the city. Several units are currently working on this task.“At that time, the Russians infiltrated among the local population, which was also a problem — it was difficult to tell who was a local and who was Russian. That problem has now been resolved, and the clearing continues,” Maliarevych added. On November 3, 163 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 55 assaults.
