Ukraine’s air defenses shot down Kinzhal missile, 115 drones overnightThe Ukrainian Air Force reported that on the night of November 3, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from Lipetsk region airspace, four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, five S-300/S-400 surface-to-air missiles from Russia’s Kursk region, and 138 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Geran, and other types launched from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk — about 80 of them Shaheds.“As of 08:30 a.m., preliminary data show air defenses destroyed or suppressed one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missile and 115 Russian drones of various types over northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine,” the Air Force reported.Missile and drone strikes hit 11 locations, with 20 drones striking targets.“The attack continues, several Russian drones remain in Ukraine’s airspace,” the Air Force warned.Zaporizhzhia regionAt 4:04 a.m., Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov reported explosions in the region.At 4:07 a.m., he clarified that there had been four blasts, as Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia district.Preliminary reports indicate no casualties.Mykolaiv regionAccording to Head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim, around 3:30 a.m. a drone attack caused a fire in the city.Later, he said the Russians attacked the region with Shahed-type drones, damaging energy infrastructure.“Power outages occurred in 12 settlements, but all consumers have now been reconnected. In Mykolaiv, a fire broke out in a hardware supermarket and was extinguished by rescuers. Buildings at a car service station, two cars, and windows in an apartment building were damaged. No one was injured,” Kim wrote.The State Emergency Service reported that the fire in Mykolaiv covered an area of about 2,000 square meters.Sumy regionHead of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov said Russia attacked the Trostianets community with strike drones overnight.“Russians cynically targeted civilians — directly, at night, while they were sleeping,” he said.Preliminary reports say one person was killed.Rescuers pulled three people from the rubble, who are receiving medical assistance.Search and rescue operations are ongoing.Dnipropetrovsk regionHead of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksii Haivanenko said Russian forces launched missile strikes on the regional center.“An enterprise was damaged. A fire broke out and was extinguished. A 37-year-old man was injured and will be treated at home,” Haivanenko wrote.He added that air defenses shot down two drones over the region.
