Follow safety rules and remain in shelters until the air raid alert is over,” the administration urged.At 11:26 p.m., drones were detected in the region’s airspace, and air defenses engaged the targets.Strikes on ZaporizhzhiaAt 7 a.m., it was reported that another person was injured.“Another person was wounded during the night attack — injured by shattered glass. Medics are providing all necessary assistance,” wrote regional head Ivan Fedorov.As of 2:40 a.m., Fedorov said two people were injured in the shelling — a 7-year-old child and a 45-year-old woman, both in serious condition and receiving medical care.At 4 a.m., it was reported that the 7-year-old boy wounded in the Russian night attack had died in the hospital.“Doctors fought for his life until the end, but the injuries were too severe. My deepest condolences to his family,” Fedorov wrote.As of 5 a.m. on October 10, Zaporizhzhia had been under heavy Russian attack for six hours.“Our air defense is active. Stay in safe places until the all-clear,” Fedorov said at 11:39 p.m.At 1:40 a.m., reports said a fire broke out as a result of the attack. According to preliminary data, no casualties were reported.“The Russians struck the city at least three times. A residential building caught fire. Preliminary reports indicate two people were injured,” the regional head wrote.Dnipropetrovsk regionRegional governor Serhii Lysak reported explosions in Dnipro, Kamianske, and Kryvyi Rih.
