The Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief shared this on social media.Syrskyi reported on the situation at the front, focusing mainly on the most intense areas – Pokrovsk, Lyman, Novopavlivka, and the north-eastern direction. He said he focused on the actions of units engaged in active defense — blocking enemy attempts to break through Ukrainian lines in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka areas and stopping them from reaching the Dnipropetrovsk region."I stressed the importance of restoring positions and holding ground in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation. We’re still holding off a large enemy force near the border. They won’t find peace there," Syrskyi said.He also noted that a separate discussion was held on boosting the army’s drone capabilities — to defend rear cities, repel enemy assaults on the front line, and carry out DeepStrike operations inside Russia."I'm closely following the interceptor drone program. New crews are being formed, and fighters are in training. The army needs as many of these high-tech UAVs as possible," said the Commander-in-Chief.Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed extra funding for interceptor drone production with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
