Supervisory board advises Ukraine's defence minister to extend contract with Defence Procurement Agency director

The supervisory board of the Defence Procurement Agency DPA has recommended that Ukraines Defence Minister Rustem Umierov extend the contract of the current DPA director, Maryna Bezrukova, for one more year.
Source DPA press service Details This decision is based on an evaluation of her performance and the need to ensure stability and efficiency in procurement management during wartime, the statement reads.
The supervisory board also announced preparations to appoint the International Board of Auditors for NATO IBAN to perform an independent audit.
This initiative seeks to ensure openness and compliance with international standards.
Based on the audit results, the board plans to establish a centre of excellence for Ukraines military procurement, bringing the country closer to NATO membership.
The DPA leadership has voiced support for these initiatives and a willingness to work with international auditors.
