Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against pro-Russian propagandists in Ukraine

On 19 January, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree implementing the National Security and Defence Councils decision on sanctions against propagandists working for Russia, as well as depriving a number of proRussian figures of state awards.

Additionally, we are continuing to revoke state honours only those who truly dedicate their lives to Ukraine deserve the title of Hero of Ukraine.
We are also preparing new sanctions, which will be announced soon.
Details The decree states that the president has stripped politicians and media professionals of their awards and frozen their assets, including politicians Nestor Shufrych, Yurii Boyko, Yevheniia Muraieva, Oleh Voloshyn, Petro Symonenko and the former deputy editorinchief of Strana.Ua Svitlana Kriukova.
There are 18 sanctioned individuals in total.
