'Ayachcho,' the chief sergeant of the Battalion Tactical Group of the 13th Brigade Khartia, stated this on Espreso TV."Our brigade continues to successfully carry out its tasks on the approaches to Kupiansk, as well as in the northern part of the city. Several settlements north of Kupiansk, adjacent territories, forest areas, and the approaches to the city have already been liberated. The group is active in the northern part of the city, and our task is to block the advance of Russian forces towards Kupiansk and destroy them on the approaches. Thanks to the coordinated and well-organized actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the accumulation of Russian troops in the city has been stopped," commented the chief sergeant.According to him, the Russian forces in Kupiansk currently number around 200 Russian servicemen. Ukrainian defenders are working on the daily, systematic destruction of the Russian troops. Fighting continues in the central part of Kupiansk, and sometimes on the outskirts of the city."These 200 Russians are surrounded. Among the interesting circumstances related to our actions in Kupiansk is the situation with the use of the gas pipeline by Russian forces to advance their troops, infiltrate the city, and subsequently accumulate. As of today, the command of our group possesses all the technical information regarding this underground route. We have taken all exits from this pipe under fire control, and a set of measures is being taken to prevent Russian forces from using this approach in the future," noted 'Ayachcho.'The serviceman added that this route into the city via the gas pipeline is now blocked for the Russian forces. All the main exit points from the pipe are under Ukrainian fire control. This underground path was effective for the Russian army at one point, but the situation is now under Ukrainian control.
