The issue is expected to be considered at the EU summit on December 19.European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde has expressed cautious approval for a proposed reparations loan mechanism for Ukraine, marking a potentially significant shift ahead of the upcoming European Council summit, though questions remain about whether her position will hold firm given past reversals.
