Details: According to the report, Russian forces have pushed forward in Vovchansk and near Tykhe in Kharkiv Oblast. They have also made gains in Donetsk Oblast – near Yampil and Novoekonomichne.

Background: On Thursday 4 December, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, said that Ukrainian units continue to hold the northern part of Pokrovsk and, through active operations, are preventing Russian troops from amassing assault groups and advancing around Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
