Roman, a serviceman with the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Cornet Leonid Stupnytskyi, stated this on Espreso TV."Currently, reports from the Oleksandrivka direction are not very frequent. This is because the Russian forces have run into a water barrier. Our defense forces have established themselves at this barrier and are driving the Russians away from it. This means we can effectively control the approaches and engage the Russian forces in advance. This water barrier is behind us, so even if it freezes in winter, it will still be convenient for us to continue eliminating the Russian forces," Roman explained. The serviceman also emphasized that the Russian forces maintain an advantage in personnel across all sectors of the Russian-Ukrainian war front."The Russian forces outnumber us in every direction. We don't have queues at the Territorial Recruitment Centers; no one is eager to join the army and participate in eliminating the Russian forces. This is also influenced by negotiations whose outcome is unknown. Fewer people are joining the army, and donations to the army are also decreasing. All of this does not contribute to our work in defending the homeland," he added. The General Staff reported that on December 2, 201 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 52 assault actions by the Russian forces.
