Volodymyr Cherniak, an officer of the Rubizh Brigade, stated this on Espreso TV."Currently, the situation is extremely dynamic, especially at the point on the combat line where the Rubizh Brigade is holding its defense. The Russian army is trying to make the most of the weather conditions, namely the dense fog.If previously the Russian troops used absolute marginals, mobilized from among those who served time in Russian prisons, for one-time assault actions, now we have started to notice a large number of Russian special forces units that have normal equipment and weapons," Cherniak emphasized.According to the officer, the Russian forces are trying to break through into the inter-positional space to create chaos in the defense lines. At the same time, the Russian army has not abandoned traditional assault actions and is involving a significant amount of heavy equipment."It should be noted that the Russian forces' equipment and personnel are not decreasing. Their offensive pace is not slowing down. In the area of responsibility of the Rubizh Brigade, the Russian army's advances are currently being contained. However, it should not be forgotten that the Russian forces have taken this direction quite seriously. They have already violated some orders of their military-political command regarding the capture of certain settlements by certain dates. And now they are trying with all their might to correct these shortcomings," Cherniak added.Ukraine's Third Army Corps refuted the statements of the Russian military command about the capture of the settlements of Stavky and Novoselivka in the Donetsk region.
