Zelenskyy will not sign any document giving up Ukrainian territory – head of President's Office

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyy will not sign any document that involves giving up Ukrainian territory while he remains in office.

Quote : "As long as Zelenskyy is president, no one should count on us giving up territory. He will not sign away territory.
The constitution prohibits this. Nobody can do that unless they want to go against the Ukrainian constitution and the Ukrainian people."
Details : Yermak believes that no reasonable person today would sign a document relinquishing territory.
He stressed that Zelenskyy intends to draw a red line on the most controversial issue at the next stage of negotiations on ending the war in Ukraine: Russia's demand regarding Ukraine's sovereign territory.
Quote : "All we can realistically talk about right now is really to define the line of contact. And that's what we need to do."
Background : Earlier on Thursday, Yermak said that joint work between the US and Ukrainian delegations will continue later this week, without specifying the format.
