Details: The system is built on a MAN HX chassis, but it can also be unloaded if needed. The video shows shielding panels installed on the radar for additional protection.
The system uses an autocannon with a calibre that can be adjusted according to customer requirements. The base version is the 30mm Mark 44 Bushmaster II, which has been supplied to Ukraine. A 40mm cannon can also be installed.
In addition, the Terrahawk Paladin is equipped with sensors and a 360-degree radar, enabling it to detect, track and destroy aerial, ground and maritime targets at short range.
The Terrahawk systems were developed by MSI Defence Systems. Their transfer to Ukraine as part of a UK assistance package was reported in October 2023. The number of systems supplied was not disclosed.
Previously: Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine has received all four of the Skynex air defence systems funded by Germany. The systems were manufactured by Rheinmetall and paid for by the German government.
