Drones attack power substation in Russia's Ulyanovsk Oblast, fire breaks out

The Russian authorities have reported another drone attack on the Veshkayma electrical substation in Russia's Ulyanovsk Oblast, which was already targeted a month ago.
Source : Russian Telegram channel Astra; Ulyanovsk Oblast Governor Aleksei Russkikh
Quote from Russkikh : "An enemy drone attack on the substation in the Veshkaymsky district has been repelled. No casualties have been recorded. Emergency services are working at the scene where the [weapon] debris fell."
Details : Russkikh claimed that electricity supplies to local settlements are operating as normal.
However, Astra reported that a fire had broken out at the substation. This was confirmed by satellite data from NASA's Firms service.
Astra noted that the Veshkayma 500 kV substation is a key link in the Volga region's energy ring, as it connects the power systems of Ulyanovsk Oblast, Mordovia, Chuvashia and Samara Oblast.
It is reported that "significant volumes of electricity" pass through this substation, including electricity from the Syzran and Zhiguli hydroelectric power stations, which supply central parts of Russia.
Drones had attacked the Veshkayma 500 kV substation on 18 October.
