Details: A unit of the Magyar Birds Brigade carried out a strike on the storage and maintenance base for Russian Orion strike and reconnaissance drones near Kirovske in occupied Crimea on the night of 12-13 November.
In September 2025, fighters from the Topot unit of the Magyar Birds Brigade had already shot down one of these drones.
Quote: "[The Orion] carries air-to-ground bombs and missiles, can stay airborne for up to 24 hours at altitudes of up to 7,500 m, has a wingspan of 16.3 m and is an expensive and rare creature."
For reference: The Orion is one of Russia's most advanced strike and reconnaissance UAVs. It can fly for almost 24 hours, carry guided missiles and aerial bombs on up to four hardpoints, and has a range of 1,000-1,500 km.
Background: On the night of 12-13 November, Ukrainian defence forces deployed Liutyi drones and Bars and Flamingo missiles to strike several dozen targets in Russia and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
