Details: Ukrainska Pravda has information that the Russians struck Polysan, a manufacturer of paint and varnish products.
The attack caused materials to catch fire at one of the production sites. Residents saw a thick column of smoke rising over the area.
Early reports indicate no casualties. "The aftermath is being dealt with," said Serhii Kryvosheieenko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration.
Until the causes of the smoke are fully clarified, Sumy Oblast Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has advised residents to keep windows closed; limit outdoor time for children, the elderly and people with chronic lung conditions; drink more water; and, if available, switch air purifiers to maximum.
