Hennadii Khazan, president of the All-Ukrainian aviation organization Association of Private Pilots and Aircraft Owners, stated this on Espreso TV."The partners I communicate with almost every day, even before all these scandals officially erupted on Monday, were already carefully drawing attention to what was happening in the aviation industry, specifically in Ukraine's aviation industry. But they pointed out to me that disgraceful things are happening regarding attacks on the leadership of the State Aviation Service of Ukraine. In principle, these are, you know, specialists, and you can't train them in two days. And generally, what is happening in Ukraine's aviation industry? Our European partners are drawing attention to the unacceptable acts of pressure on the leadership of the State Aviation Service that are currently taking place. The Disciplinary Commission of the Cabinet of Ministers was supposed to investigate the work of the state service's leadership by September 10, then it was postponed until the 10th of this month, but a scandal happened, and they postponed it for another week. So, these scandals that are happening are seemingly a much bigger deal, but what's happening is that people are being appointed from the street to the position of deputy head of the State Aviation Service without competitions, without anything, hiding behind the excuse that there's a war going on. And tomorrow they'll kill, and it's a war, and people need to be appointed without a competition. That is, those people who worked for years, their contracts ended, and instead of extending their contracts through a simplified procedure, no, goodbye, you can't negotiate with them. But people from the street, they will be the right specialists," he noted.Hennadii Khazan also noted that the State Aviation University signed a memorandum with Ukrzaliznytsia and is training railway workers."And then there's the scandal we're hearing about in Ukraine now, and then we hear additional things about the aviation industry, that the State Aviation University in Kyiv agreed to sign a memorandum with Ukrzaliznytsia to train railway workers at the aviation university. So, despite the situation where the Kharkiv Aviation University named after Kozhedub is forced to leave Kharkiv and disperse throughout Ukraine, meaning students and military personnel are being taught in pieces in other places, this is the future, the Ukrainian army, being taught anywhere, but railway workers need to be trained at the aviation institute in Kyiv, because we need railway workers, the aviation industry is not needed, military aviation is not needed, but we have so many of them. Excuse me, a couple of Mindiches will go, sit at the controls of a plane, they will fly, they will ride. It's not even funny," the aviation expert said.
