Military expert Dmytro Sniehyrov, co-chairman of the NGO Prava Sprava, said this in a comment to Espreso TV."In Pokrovsk, the Russian troops are planning two false flag operations with the aim of discrediting the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Ukrainian intelligence community," he noted.According to him, the first provocation involves the shooting of local civilians, which will then be presented as the consequences of counter-sabotage measures by Ukrainian special forces — the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Special Operations Forces."This is planned for the moment of possible presence of media representatives," Sniehyrov remarked. He added that the second operation is a targeted fire attack on the permanent and temporary deployment locations of the media representatives themselves."This will be presented as obstruction by the Ukrainian Defense Forces to media coverage of the situation in the Pokrovsk direction," Sniehyrov concluded. On October 30, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian military to "ensure unhindered passage for foreign journalists" to Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, and Kupiansk. Ukraine's Foreign Ministry has urged not to trust this.
