Ukrainian intelligence releases data on Russian soldiers who executed civilians in Bucha

Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has released the names and personal data of Russian war criminals who executed 17 Ukrainians during the occupation of Bucha in 2022. The Russians belong to the 234th Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Division of the Russian Armed Forces.

Quote: "These individuals have been involved in killings, torture and attempts to conceal war crimes by burning the bodies of executed residents of Bucha, as well as in threats against civilians during the Russian occupation of the city near Kyiv."
Details: The war crimes were committed by, among others, the following individuals:
- Lieutenant Yuri Kim, 28, platoon commander, 4th Air Assault Company, 2nd Battalion Tactical Group. Address: Flat 56, Building 13, Research Institute of Fire Protection microdistrict, Balashykha, Moscow Oblast, Russian Federation.
- Private Yevgeny Meshalkin, 24, rifleman-operator, 2nd Battalion Tactical Group. Address: Flat 7, Building 181, Sverdlova Street, Yalutorovsk, Tyumen Oblast, Russian Federation.
- Senior Sergeant (equivalent to staff sergeant) Anatoly Pavlov, 35, artillery piece commander, 2nd Self-Propelled Artillery Battery, 2nd Battalion Tactical Group. Born in the Republic of Chuvashia. Address: Flat 20, Building 1, Margelova Street, Pskov, Russian Federation.
- Senior Sergeant Shamil Gasanguliev, section commander and infantry fighting vehicle commander, 4th Air Assault Company, 2nd Battalion Tactical Group. Address: 9 Relsovyi Lane, Pskov, Russian Federation.
- Senior Soldier (equivalent to lance corporal) Pavel Kretinin, 40, deputy platoon commander and section commander, 2nd battalion tactical group. Born in Voronezh Oblast. Address: flat 91, 49 Ryzhskyi Avenue, Pskov, Russian Federation.
Background: It was reported earlier that Ukrainian law enforcement authorities have served notices of suspicion on five Russian soldiers accused of killing 17 civilians in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast, in the area of Ivana Franka, Maksyma Rydzanycha and Naberezhna streets during the occupation of the city in 2022.
