The Otpor movement reported the information, citing its sources.“The occupying authorities are unable to maintain basic civilian infrastructure. For the fourth day in a row, there have been serious signal disruptions, in addition to fuel shortages,” the statement said. The movement noted that internet service for residents of Crimea has been unstable over the past four days. The MAX app frequently malfunctions — calls cannot be made, the app closes, and other messengers show a “Waiting for network” message.Sources emphasized that the situation has increased tension among the population, because the Russians cannot maintain infrastructure, businesses are halted, and civilians suffer twice as much.Residents have been advised to keep cash and fuel reserves and to use SMS, as they are often more reliable than messaging apps when the signal is weak.On October 24, the Yellow Ribbon movement reported that Russian forces at checkpoints in Crimea had started confiscating gasoline from people, with such incidents becoming increasingly frequent.
