Russians strike key energy facility in Chernihiv Oblast

A key energy facility has been damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Koriukivka district in Chernihiv Oblast.

Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka District Military Administration, reported that the Russians targeted an infrastructure facility in the town of Snovsk and a settlement in the Snovsk hromada with drones at around 16:00. "Emergency workers and police are working at the scene. Firefighters have extinguished the fire. However, people should be prepared for disruptions to electricity supply," he said.
Background: On the evening of 26 October, Russian forces conducted drone strikes on transport infrastructure facilities in Chernihiv Oblast, leading to the temporary suspension of commuter rail services between Snovsk and Bakhmach.
