Doctor of Historical Sciences and political scientist Vadym Denysenko shared his opinions on Espreso TV.“Putin has two minimal goals for ending the war. The first is full control over the Donbas. The second is building the so-called Cheburnet in Russia (Russian internet). Both tasks are extremely difficult for him. But without external influence, it is impossible to imagine that Putin would simply start ending the war,” Denysenko emphasized. The political scientist believes that Trump currently has no influence over Putin, except for the Tomahawks, which could destroy Russia’s oil export infrastructure. China could stop the war, but it is currently in an escalation process with the United States.“When China joins the negotiation process on Ukraine, this question remains unresolved, and we do not understand how events will develop further. It is already clear that no quick solutions will come through the U.S.-China line. Therefore, to talk today about Putin being ready to stop the war without external influence is self-deception. At the same time, external influence is currently impossible for various reasons, primarily due to negotiations between the United States and China,” Denysenko added.Diplomat Volodymyr Ohryzko noted that in the Kremlin, they fear not only American cruise missiles Tomahawk, but also a shift in the West’s attitude toward the war.
