And if something needs to be refined, it happens as quickly as possible. Therefore, this is a great chance for the defense industry," noted the former Defense Minister.According to him, Ukraine is now known in the world as the absolute leader in the production of small UAVs. Unfortunately, this experience is being gained in a very tragic and difficult way, but it is an experience that is important for the entire free world."Currently, the priority in the defense industry, besides receiving orders, is the ability to attract large investments. After all, all manufacturers have the opportunity to develop. There is a term, 'technology export,' which means providing licenses even to their own companies registered in EU countries. And for foreign investors, it's an opportunity to use these technologies in other countries, not just in Ukraine. Unfortunately, the legislation for this mechanism is not yet complete; the legislative process is ongoing. We hope that everything will be resolved in the near future, and then Ukraine will truly open up to big money from the West," Zahorodniuk summarized.On August 20, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Flamingo tests were successful, and mass production will start at the beginning of next year.
