Russian strike sets maternity hospital on fire in Ukraine’s Sumy

Sumy Regional Military Administration head Oleh Hryhorov reported the information.“The Russians deliberately hit a medical facility in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. At the time, 166 people were inside, including 11 children,” the head of the Sumy administration wrote.Everyone was reportedly in a shelter during the attack. No casualties have been reported so far.The threat of further attacks remains.The information was also confirmed by the Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.“At the time of the attack, there were 11 children, 35 patients, and 120 staff inside,” Yermak added.On Saturday, October 4, the Russian army attacked the railway station in the Shostka community of Sumy region with drones. The strike hit a passenger train, killing one person and injuring others.
