He made this statement on X.Zelenskyy welcomed the “firm decision” of the UN Security Council to reinstate sanctions against Iran, noting that Iran “has long ignored calls from the IAEA and the international community, undermining the nuclear order.”“This must be a global rule to follow: whenever anyone undermines or threatens international peace and security, harsh sanctions must be imposed without delay,” he added.The head of state recalled that Russia seized the Ukrainian nuclear power plant along with its nuclear materials, turning it into a “global nuclear threat.”“Reckless regimes that ignore basic international law norms and pursue ambitions that endanger nuclear security must face a united and strong international response,” Zelenskyy wrote.He added that strengthening the international nuclear order requires “severe national and collective pressure on Russia, as well as sanctions against its nuclear sector.”On the night of Sunday, September 28, Russia carried out massive drone and missile strikes across Ukraine for more than 12 hours. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the international community to stop importing Russian oil products.
