Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko announced this decision.“Thus, we are forming the starting position of the Reconstruction Investment Fund with a total of $150 million. This is another important step toward launching the Fund’s full-scale operations, and from today we can state: the operational work has begun,” Svyrydenko said.According to her, priority will be given to projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, and critical minerals. The government plans to implement three projects by the end of 2026.“It is important that the Fund is built on the principle of equality. Ukraine assumes the same financial commitments as the American side. This not only demonstrates our responsibility but also emphasizes that we see the Fund as a joint tool for recovery and long-term cooperation,” the Prime Minister stressed. She added that the decision paves the way for financing the first large-scale projects, creating modern production facilities, new jobs, and technological solutions that will strengthen Ukraine’s economy and security.“This initial capital carries additional meaning for us: American investments can serve as a reliable security guarantee both for Ukraine and for American businesses in our country,” Svyrydenko concluded. On September 15, American representatives visited Kirovohrad region for the first time to inspect facilities that may become initial projects for the Reconstruction Investment Fund.
