Ukraine hits Russian oil infrastructure, damaging Stalnoi Kon pipeline, refinery
Ukraine’s General Staff reports that on the night of September 7, Ukrainian missile, artillery, and unmanned systems units struck multiple strategic targets in Russia.Units hit the 8-N linear production dispatch station near Naitopovichi in Bryansk region. The station is part of the Stalnoi Kon oil pipeline, which has a capacity of 10.5 million tons and supplies fuel to Russian forces. The strikes caused a fire near the pumping station and tank farm.Ukrainian Special Operations Forces also struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Krasnodar region, which processes more than 6.4 million tons of oil annually and supports the Russian military. Explosions and fires were reported, with damage still being assessed. In addition, Ukrainian forces confirmed strikes on personnel locations and logistics depots of Russian units in Kursk region.Earlier, Russian Telegram channels reported that drone debris fell on the refinery, causing a fire. The Krasnodar Krai operational headquarters confirmed the fire, according to ASTRA.“UAV debris fell on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery. As a result, one of the technological units caught fire. The blaze, covering several square meters, was promptly extinguished,” the official statement said. The administration also reported that there were no casualties and that the plant’s workers were evacuated to shelters during the attack.According to the BBC, due to the nighttime attacks, flights were temporarily suspended at several airports: Zhukovsky near Moscow, as well as in Nizhny Novgorod and Volgograd. Later, operations at the Nizhny Novgorod and Volgograd airports resumed. Rosaviatsia explained the restrictions as "temporary measures for the reception and dispatch of aircraft."In addition, the commander of the UAV Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Robert Brovdi, reported an attack on a linear-production station of the Druzhba oil pipeline in Bryansk region.????????Druzhba oil pipeline is on fire again - it was attacked by drones at night.
