In March, the EU approved two projects for the Czech Republic worth four billion Czech korunas (about €160 million).The financing, which will be carried out through the National Development Bank, will be directed toward humanitarian and reconstruction projects. The foreign minister called this program “a flagship project that strengthens the Czech Republic’s international reputation.”The outlet noted that since 2023, 500 million Czech korunas (approximately €20 million) have been allocated annually to the program.Earlier, Czech President Petr Pavel said that if peacekeeping forces were deployed in Ukraine, the Czech Republic could and should be part of them, as it supports a country suffering from Russian aggression.
