Quote : "According to the case file, the mole was trying to identify loopholes in the local air defence. The enemy was most interested in the locations and routes of mobile fire groups protecting the airspace in the area of the thermal power plant."
Details : The SSU noted that in order to obtain the coordinates, the man walked around the area near the power plant and recorded the Ukrainian defenders' likely locations on his mobile phone camera.
Meanwhile, the man was collecting information for the Russians about the aftermath of previous attacks on the thermal power plant and the results of the reconstruction work.
The SSU officers exposed the mole in advance, documented his crimes and detained him red-handed while he was spying on the technological premises of the thermal power plant.
According to the investigation, the suspect was recruited by the FSB because he was posting anti-Ukrainian comments on Telegram channels.
During the searches, a mobile phone with evidence of work for the Russians was seized from the detainee.
Based on the evidence, SSU investigators served him with a notice of suspicion of treason. The offender is in custody and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
