Russian forces launch over 70 attacks on Pokrovsk and Kurakhove fronts in past 24 hours – Ukraine's General Staff

Ukrainian and Russian forces have clashed 161 times throughout the war zone over the past 24 hours, with Russian troops mounting 71 assaults on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove fronts. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 24 Russian attacks on the Kursk front.

Details:On the Kharkiv front , Ukrainian troops repelled two Russian attacks near the settlements of Starytsia and Vovchansk.

On the Kupiansk front , Russian forces launched eight attacks over the past 24 hours. Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian assaults near the settlements of Zapadne, Kucherivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.

On the Lyman front , Russian troops conducted 17 attacks. They sought to advance near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Borivska, Andriivka, Kopanky, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, Hrekivka and Ivanivka.

On the Siversk front , the Russians carried out one attack on Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Bilohorivka.

On the Kramatorsk front , seven combat clashes occurred near the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.

On the Toretsk front , Russian forces carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Bila Hora and Shcherbynivka.

On the Pokrovsk front , Ukrainian defenders repelled 42 Russian assaults and offensive efforts near the settlements of Baranivka, Myroliubivka, Sukhyi Yar, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Zvirove, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Novovasylivka, Novoandriivka and Novoielyzavetivka.

On the Kurakhove front , Ukrainian forces repelled 29 Russian attacks near the settlements of Sribne, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.

On the Vremivka front , Russian troops conducted 11 offensive efforts against Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Yantarne, Vremivka, Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.

On the Prydniprovske front , Russian forces stormed Ukrainian positions three times but to no avail.

On the Kursk front , Ukrainian forces repelled 25 Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. In addition, the Russians subjected Ukrainian positions and settlements to 19 airstrikes, using 31 guided bombs and 469 artillery strikes (including 19 from multiple-launch rocket systems).

On the Huliaipole and Orikhiv fronts , Russian forces conducted no assault operations over the past 24 hours.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts , there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, the Russians are actively using artillery and aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation to attack Ukrainian settlements.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to inflict significant losses on Russian troops in both manpower and equipment, actively undermining Russia’s offensive potential in the rear.
