Putin threatens Ukraine with "even greater destruction" after attack on Kazan

After a drone strike on Kazan on 21 December, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin threatened Ukraine with even greater destruction, omitting the devastation caused by Russian forces in Ukraine over nearly three years of the fullscale war.
Source Russian stateowned news agencies RIA Novosti and Interfax Details Speaking through video conference at the opening of new transport infrastructure facilities in Russian regions, Putin expressed confidence that Kazans authorities would restore everything that had been damaged in the recent attack.
Quote Whoever and however they try to destroy something here, they will experience even greater destruction at home and will come to regret everything they have tried to do in our country.
Details Putin failed to mention that it was Russia that launched the fullscale invasion of Ukraine and has repeatedly destroyed residential buildings in various cities over the past three years.
Every day, Ukraine is attacked by Russian attack drones and/or missiles.
Background During the morning of 21 December, at least seven drones struck Kazan, Russia, some of which hit residential buildings, including a 32storey luxury building.
The Russian authorities also reported a strike on an industrial plant in Kazan.
Andrii Kovalenko, head of the National Security and Defence Councils Disinformation Counteraction Centre, wrote on Telegram that the Kazan Powder Plant is one of the key enterprises of the Russian militaryindustrial complex, specialising in the production of explosives, rocket fuel and other components critical to the Russian army.
This plant provides the Russian armed forces with ammunition and materials necessary for the production of missiles of various classes and purposes, including Kalibr, Iskander, and other missiles.
