Trump's team comments on Orbán's idea of a Christmas truce in Ukraine

Mike Waltz, Donald Trumps nominee for National Security Adviser, has said that the world would welcome some form of cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, referring to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbns proposal for a Christmas truce.
Source Waltz on CBS News, as reported by European Pravda Details Commenting on Trumps recent meeting with Orbn in the US and the Hungarian prime ministers truce idea, Waltz said he hoped that the entire world would want to see some type of cessation to the slaughter that is happening in eastern Ukraine.

Later, Hungarian Foreign Minister Pter Szijjrt effectively confirmed that this was untrue, as Orbn had not spoken with Zelenskyy and thus could not have known whether the Ukrainian president had rejected the proposal.
