We constantly hear that as long as the war continues, and as long as Zelenskyy is president, the Russians are not interested in ending the war.Therefore, it is important to provide an answer to the question of why we cannot hold elections. And Zelenskyy said: if they guarantee us security, if Russia can be forced to stop attacks, if there is a situation in Ukraine where nothing is flying or exploding, and security is guaranteed - and this is what we strive for, that is, security guarantees - then we are ready. And then come the technical issues. In particular, the question must be raised: who will finance this," Rybachuk noted.According to the politician, Ukraine, together with European legislators and the best specialists, needs to think about how to organize elections abroad."I see a plus in the fact that we already need to think about it, because so far the Verkhovna Rada has not even begun work on the specifics of holding elections - whether under martial law or under conditions of heightened threat.Therefore, in this sense, Zelenskyy very successfully threw the ball to the side of our Western partners. The Americans - there are not only Witkoff and the Donalds senior and junior, there are also quite decent analysts who understand what this is about. There are international organizations responsible for elections.That is, we are opening the door and saying: 'Please, let's sit down together, guarantee security to our voters, security for conducting the campaign to our politicians. Let's hold elections according to European standards,'" Rybachuk emphasized.President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated Ukraine's readiness to hold elections within 60-90 days if the U.S. and European partners guarantee security.
