Zelenskyy outlines talks with US on Ukraine's reconstruction

Representatives of Ukraine and the US have held talks on Ukraine's reconstruction and economic recovery after the war ends.

Details: According to Zelenskyy, the US was represented at the talks by Jared Kushner, diplomatic envoy and son-in-law of Donald Trump, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent and Larry Fink, CEO of investment company BlackRock.
Judging by the photos, the Ukrainian delegation is comprised of Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, Economy Minister Oleksii Soboliev, Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and his deputy Serhii Kyslytsia, as well as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Hnatov.
Quote: "In fact, this could be considered the first meeting of the group that will work on a document concerning reconstruction and economic recovery of Ukraine."
Details: Zelenskyy added that the parties discussed "key elements for recovery, various mechanisms and visions for reconstruction".
Quote:"There are many ideas that, with the right approach, could succeed in Ukraine. We have also updated our reflections on the 20 points of the framework document for ending the war. It is overall security that will determine economic security and underpin safe business environment."

Background:
- On Tuesday, Zelenskyy reported that work at the level of national security advisers on Ukraine's and Europe's proposals for a "peace plan" had been completed.
- He also said that, as part of the negotiation process between Ukraine, Europe and the US, three documents are being prepared that will form the basis of a peace settlement.
