Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has stated that the defence of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast is ongoing, Myrnohrad is not encircled and a counter-sabotage operations continue in Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast.

Quote: "The defence of Pokrovsk continues, and our armed forces control almost 13 sq km in the north of the city. Myrnohrad is not encircled. Our successful counter-sabotage operations in Kupiansk are ongoing.

I want to stress once again: the scale of Russian lies is many times greater than the real pace of Russian forces' advance. The enemy uses disinformation and its fake maps in a hybrid war against Ukraine, influencing both foreign audiences and our society, our armed forces."

Details: Syrskyi called on people not to help the Russians and not to spread their propaganda messages.

Quote: "We cannot report all our successes to the wider public in detail at the moment. The lives of our soldiers on the positions they have regained depend on such information."
