Yurii Fedorenko, commander of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment Achilles, stated this on Espreso TV."As for Russia, it communicates quite well with China. China is a top producer of quality components for unmanned systems. Fiber-optic cable drones - these are FPV 'kamikaze' drones that are piloted by transmitting signals through fiber-optic cable that unspools. They are currently of higher quality than what we have in Ukraine, because China supplies these technologies directly in large quantities, and Russia is simply the country that assembles it all and directs it toward the war against Ukraine. But despite their proximity to China, despite the fact that Russia can receive advanced technologies from them, there are drone categories where we absolutely outpace the enemy. Well, not to be unsubstantiated, heavy night bombers like the Baba Yaga - there are a number of such models in our country that are used for defense; the most commonly used and mass-produced drone is the Vampire," he said.Yurii Fedorenko noted that as a result of such systems, Russia, despite its leadership's decision to create an analog, has not yet achieved massive deployment on the front line."Russia is only developing this direction. So there are categories where the enemy significantly outpaces us, and there are categories where we are absolute leaders - I emphasize, absolute. And finally, to conclude my thought, I must say that while Ukrainians hope that the war may end in the foreseeable future, the enemy has the opposite situation. Their men living on the periphery, who have microloans and credits, quickly run to recruitment centers and military enlistment offices to sign contracts. Because upon signing a contract they receive signing bonuses of $5,000-$7,000-$10,000. They calculate that if the war ends, they won't have to fight, but the money is already here, the money is in hand. And then the war doesn't end, and as a result we fall short in our capabilities, while the Russian Federation has people to fight en masse," he said. The commander of the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Achilles" called on Ukrainians to prepare for the possibility that the war may not end in the foreseeable future."Therefore, I sincerely ask you, Ukrainians, please - we must prepare for a possible long war, and its end may not come in the foreseeable future. For this we must be strong in body, strong in spirit, strong in our intentions, and understand that, without exaggeration, we are fighting for the right to live. And if we can maintain steady support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and unity within the state, we will cope with those long-term challenges that fate has prepared for us. And if the war ends sooner, that will be positive for everyone and we will preserve the significant potential of the Ukrainian state for reconstruction and development of our defense sector as well. It's much worse when we hope that the war will end quickly, but as a result it becomes protracted. Then this could lead to irreparable consequences," believes Yurii Fedorenko.
