Russia has no seat at this table, Ukraine's foreign minister tells OSCE

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has said during a meeting of foreign ministers from the member states of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe that Russia, which is responsible for war crimes in Ukraine, has no place at the table.

Details: Sybiha spoke first in the debate after his European counterparts agreed to give up their speaking slots in favour of Ukraine.
He pointed out that in recent months Russia has lost four key elections in international organisations – to the council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, the executive board of UNESCO, the executive council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the council of the International Maritime Organisation.
Quote: "Countries across the world do not see Russia as a partner in solving global problems. Moscow is in fact the root cause of these global problems. There is also no reason to believe that Russia can be a partner here, in the OSCE."
More details: Sybiha added that there should be no place at this table for war criminals.
Quote: "There have been 195,000 war crimes. A total of 671 children have been killed and more than 2,000 have been injured. Torture, rape and systematic human rights violations. All this must stop."
More details: Sybiha also called on the OSCE to move ahead with the reform proposed by Ukraine earlier.
Quote: "It's time for the organisation to adapt to the new realities. The OSCE reform we put forward last year remains on the agenda."
Background: Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Ukraine has been regularly urging a reset of the organisation, calling for the exclusion of the Russian Federation.
