Ukrainian delegation head briefs Zelenskyy on results of "difficult but productive" talks with US

Rustem Umierov, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council and the head of the Ukrainian delegation, has described Sunday's talks in Florida with US representatives as difficult but productive and later reported the results to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Updated : Umierov said at 23:13 that he had briefed Zelenskyy on the outcome of the talks in the United States.
"We have achieved substantial progress in advancing a dignified peace and in converging our positions with the American side. Our key objectives – security, sovereignty, and a reliable peace – remain unchanged and are shared by the American side. Ahead lies the continuation of consultations and work on coordinating a joint framework solution with the American side," he wrote.

- Talks between the Ukrainian and US delegations on resolving the Russo-Ukrainian war took place in the United States on Sunday 30 November.
- Axios stated that the United States intended to secure agreement on two key issues that remain unresolved – territory and security guarantees – during Sunday's meeting with the Ukrainian delegation in Miami.
- The Wall Street Journal reported that the Ukrainian and US delegations in Florida had also discussed the timing of elections in Ukraine.
- US special envoy Steve Witkoff will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Moscow next week and will convey to him the results of Sunday's agreements.
