Negotiations between the Ukrainian and US delegations on resolving the Russo-Ukrainian war have begun in the US state of Florida.

Before the meeting began, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US wants an end to the war so that there will be no such war in the future and Ukraine can ensure prosperity for all its people.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation thanked US President Donald Trump for his peace initiatives.

"Over the past 10 months, we have made significant progress and received considerable support. We are now discussing the future and security of Ukraine to prevent any repeat of the aggression against Ukraine," Umierov said.
