Ukrainian lawmaker Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze stated this on Espreso TV."In my opinion, after what we learned from the information from Bloomberg, the whole world found out about the conversation between Ushakov and Dmitriev and how they passed their plan through Witkoff to the Trump administration, which means that Russia has led the U.S. into a trap. Then they involved the whole world, including Ukraine, to work within this Russian trap. After the disclosure of these conversations, it is completely impossible to talk about the acceptability of that plan. We understand that this plan was written in Moscow. Ukraine has many red lines that were crossed there. Therefore, it is very difficult for me to say what exactly the Ukrainian delegation agreed upon with the U.S. on this peace plan," explained Klympush-Tsintsadze.According to the MP, Steve Witkoff effectively set up the Donald Trump administration. He presented the peace plan as his own, but it contained demands from Moscow."As for me, the right thing for Ukraine to do today would be to demand the removal of Steve Witkoff from the negotiation process. General Kellogg, as far as I know, was removed at Russia's request, allegedly due to a loss of trust. In this story, we have an unequivocal loss of trust and the fact that Witkoff de facto set up the Trump administration by presenting this plan, which was supposedly written by him but was agreed upon with the Russian Federation," she stressed.U.S. presidential envoy Steve Witkoff advised a top Putin aide on how to approach Donald Trump with a Ukraine peace plan, suggesting they collaborate on a proposal modeled after the Gaza ceasefire deal.U.S. President Donald Trump commented on media reports about past conversations between his special representative, Steve Witkoff, and Putin's aide, Yuri Ushakov. He called them 'standard negotiation.'
